The creatures in nature and their possible stories fascinate me! 

As I imagine these narratives, I find that they resemble my own journey in finding what it means to belong and thrive as a part of God’s creation. My drawings venture into these mystical adventures and explore the idea of faith represented as light. My most recent series follows the story of a field mouse, a raven, and a girl as make their way home, guided by light. I start my drawings with layers of watercolor and render with wax-based colored pencils. I love to explore the unique textures achievable between watercolor and colored pencils.
